About the role : Elite Legal Practice is a national consumer protection firm with the headquarters located in Las Vegas, NV specializing in creditor / collection violations, credit reporting violations, and debt dispute resolution. Our attorneys provide robust representation with an emphasis on client care. Our strategy is meticulously tailored to meet our clients' unique financial needs, guaranteeing personalized and results-driven solutions.
Role Description : We are looking for an associate attorney for our Scottsdale, AZ office with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) litigation experience. Associate attorneys will have an expected caseload of approximately 50 FCRA / FDCPA cases at any given time. The litigation work will include identifying violations of the FCRA / FDCPA, drafting and filing complaints, drafting discovery, attending necessary hearings, and negotiating resolution for clients. This position requires strong leadership skills. The associate will work collaboratively with our legal team, as well as independently to achieve the best results for our clients.
Responsibilities include :
- FCRA and FDCPA actions, and similar debt disputes.
- Collection defense, summons response, and pre-litigation settlements
- Client communications
- Educating our marketing teams to recognize and refer FCRA claims
- Corporate compliance
Requirements : Requirements :
While a Arizona bar license is not required, the ideal candidate must report to Scottsdale or be willing to relocate to Scottsdale area. There is no billable hours requirement for this position.
