Job Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite supervision and ensure the coordination and timeliness of work, maintaining proper workmanship across all trades.
- Enforce safety compliance with OSHA and EM 385-1-1 regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Schedule and coordinate all subcontractors and material suppliers to maintain project timelines.
- Attend all pre-construction site visits, pre-final inspections, and final inspections to ensure project quality and adherence to specifications.
- Communicate effectively and direct the efforts of teams performing the work.
- Conduct weekly or bi-weekly Quality Control (QC) and Progress meetings to review project status and resolve any challenges.
- Perform USACE EM385 three phases of control to ensure compliance with federal standards.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager or superintendent for a general contracting firm, overseeing multi-discipline commercial and industrial construction projects, with a preference for government construction projects.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Bluebeam.
- Experience creating project schedules, pre-construction, and product submittals (knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet is a plus).
- OSHA 30-hour certification and a minimum of 5 years of continuous construction industry safety experience, including supervising safety programs, conducting hazard analyses, and developing controls.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance (must pass a background check; Secret Clearance preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- USACE Quality Control Manager (QCM) certification for Contractors.
- NAVFAC ECATTS certification.
- EM 385 40-hour certification.
- HAZWOPER Training.
