Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. In a private practice setting, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients experiencing movement limitations or pain, developing individualized treatment plans that utilize exercises, hands-on therapy, and education to enhance mobility and overall function. This role is essential in helping individuals regain mobility and improve their quality of life through tailored physical therapy interventions.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessment and Diagnosis:
- Review patient medical histories and conduct thorough evaluations to identify movement dysfunctions and sources of pain.
- Apply clinical reasoning skills to provide accurate and effective diagnoses.
- Treatment Planning and Implementation:
- Develop customized treatment plans that align with specific patient needs and goals.
- Utilize a variety of techniques, including exercises, stretching, manual therapy (e.g., massage, mobilization), and modalities (e.g., ultrasound).
- Implement and manage treatment programs, ensuring adherence and monitoring progress effectively.
- Patient Education and Counseling:
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and expected outcomes.
- Provide guidance on home exercises and lifestyle adjustments to promote long-term health and prevent injuries.
- Empower patients to actively participate in their rehabilitation journey.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate treatment effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (e.g., physicians, occupational therapists) to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Refer patients to other specialists when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to enhance care coordination.
- Professional Development:
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy techniques and technologies.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution, typically requiring a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
- Licensure: Must be licensed to practice as a Physiotherapist in the state where you work.
- Skills:
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in physical assessment and treatment methodologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation:
This position can be structured as a W2 or 1099 role, offering competitive compensation based on services performed, along with additional incentive bonuses. Alternatively, you may choose to rent a room and manage your own clientele, bringing in your existing clients or allowing us to assist in establishing a new client base, creating mutual benefits for both businesses.
