Elite Resources Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented and well EXPERIENCED CERTIFIED Cherry-Picker Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced furniture distribution center in the city of Cherry Hill, NJ. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring inventory is performed and that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently, and a commitment to maintaining quality control throughout the shipping process.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for Inventory and operating the Cherry-Picker Forklift and material handling equipment to ensure efficient loading, unloading, and movement of furniture within the distribution center. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Responsibilities
- Operate Cherry-Picker to move materials throughout the warehouse and perform inventory.
- Load and unload products/furniture from delivery trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
- Utilize the warehouse management system to track inventory levels and manage stock locations.
- Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in order picking and packing as needed to meet distribution deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and enhance productivity.
Skills
- Must have experienced in the Cherry-Picker and be certified.
- RF Scanner
- Proficient in operating various material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and orders.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management principles within a distribution center environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and order processing.
- Ability to load and unload products efficiently while ensuring safety standards are met.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
