Job Overview
Elite Resouces Group is looking for an Inventory Associate, the experience associate will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining inventory levels within a warehouse or distribution center. Your primary responsibilities will include data collection, analysis, and ensuring accurate stock levels to meet operational demands.
Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm (M-F) Pay Rate: $20.00/HR open to Overtime
Description:
Log, track, scan, and count the number of available products within warehouse. Experience with Cargo Wise preferred. Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels
- Utilize data analysis skills to identify trends and discrepancies in inventory records
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and manage inventory orders
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed to move and organize inventory
- Analyze data to optimize inventory processes and minimize stockouts
- Support supplier management activities to ensure timely deliveries and quality control
- Assist in selling excess or obsolete inventory through appropriate channels
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems for efficient inventory management
Requirements
- Prior experience in inventory management or related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools
- Capability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with distribution center operations is a plus
