What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service/Counter Sales Representatives position at Elite School Staffing?
Position will perform all sales and operational functions at store sales counter...including order processing, product application, pricing, etc. This is an excellent opportunity for job seekers who possess experience with HVAC/R parts, supplies and equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Assist customers with sales, questions on products or additional information.
- Process orders & returns, and complete all necessary paperwork correctly.
- Handle customer phone calls effectively.
- Process ship-out's and will call orders, as well as returns.
- Clean, organize & stock showroom/counter areas.
- Maintain cash drawer.
- Learn & use all cross-reference materials, and find an alternate product, if needed.
- Assist with warehouse duties.
- Attend training classes, when necessary.
- Work on special projects, as assigned.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous in-person customer service/sales experience, with some knowledge of HVAC/R or comparable background strongly preferred.
- Solid computer skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to stay organized & to prioritize work, meet deadlines, multitask and operate office equipment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with good listening abilities.
- Stable attendance/job history.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid drivers license & dependable vehicle.
- Ability to pass criminal background check/drug testing.
- Able/willing to work Saturday's, if necessary.
