Job Overview
As a Home Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals in their homes. Duties

• Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist clients with mobility and transferring, ensuring safety while lifting or repositioning.
• Maintain cleanliness in the client's living environment to promote hygiene and comfort.
• Document medical records accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Administer catheter care as needed, following established protocols.
• Support clients with memory care techniques and engage them in meaningful activities.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans and any changes in the client's condition.
• Assist clients with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed treatments.

Skills

• Experience in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and systems related to home health care.
• Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to best practices for mobility support.
• Familiarity with catheter care procedures is a plus.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and their families.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others maintain their independence.
