In this role, you will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing for and attending hearings, and providing legal advice and guidance to clients. You will work closely with senior attorneys and have the chance to contribute to high-stakes litigation matters.
Responsibilities- Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance defense matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and other court proceedings.
- Represent clients in insurance defense litigation.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop case strategies.
- Stay updated on changes in insurance laws and regulations.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the Bar and in good standing.
- 2-4 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
- Strong knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and legal principles.
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Strong oral advocacy skills and ability to effectively represent clients in court.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
