Elite Sourcing is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our client's Holland, Michigan office. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 8-15 years of civil/site design experience with an emphasis in layout, site design and construction permitting for residential, commercial and municipal projects. A professional engineering license in the state of Michigan is required.
The position will involve management of projects as it relates to site grading, stormwater drainage, utility sizing, roadway design and permit application. Candidate will also be responsible for direct communication with clients and review agencies, oversight of project budgets and schedules, and full support during permitting and construction. The position will also involve supervising engineers, technicians, designers, and other staff as required; preparing project proposals; establishing and maintaining primary contact with clients; and preparing schedules to assure projects are on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to interact professionally with staff and clientele. Demonstrated experience with Autodesk products including AutoCAD and Civil 3D/Land Desktop will be beneficial along with proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office products. Our client has a wide range of clients and projects, and therefore, the position requires an individual with a strong technical background and analytical skills that can quickly evaluate project requirements and apply the most effective resources.
