What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Manager position at ELITE SPICE INC?
Job Summary:
The Inventory Manager is responsible for the overall quality of the digital inventory and performance of the Inventory Department. The Inventory Manager will oversee all internal movement of product and develop strategies to meet department objectives and evaluate work effectiveness. Ensure constructive communication and productive cooperation within the inventory department as well as interdepartmentally.
Essential Duties:
- Oversee the duties of the Inventory Supervisors (Controllers, Operations, and Order Fulfilment)
- Oversee quarterly inventory counts
- Responsible for hiring, evaluating, coaching, and disciplining the Inventory Supervisors
- Effectively communicate with all departments
- Investigate complaints of the Inventory Department
- Ensure all training is completed for all Inventory personnel
- Establishing goals and objectives for the team
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Display a professional attitude
- Attend all applicable meetings and trainings
- Perform other tasks as directed by your manager
- Enforce and comply with all of Elite Spices policies, procedures, general safety laws and regulations, food safety guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practices

Qualifications:
- Previous management experience preferred
- Ability to be organized and follow up on tasks
- Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner
- Possess interpersonal skills, leadership skills, problem-solving skills, and time management skills
- Ability to work in a team setting and independently
- Proficient with Microsoft word, excel, and outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (Bilingual English/Spanish a plus)
- Experience operating a forklift / Willing to be certified and trained as a forklift operator
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Ability to work in fast-paced and changing environment
- Self-motivated with a strong worth ethic and great attitude
