We are expanding our clinical team and are looking for a highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join us.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to work closely with our interventional pain physicians. This is a dynamic clinical role focused on patient evaluations, medication management, coordination of interventional procedures, and long-term pain care plans. The ideal candidate is proactive, team-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new and follow-up pain management patients
- Develop individualized treatment plans under physician supervision
- Manage and adjust pharmacologic treatment, including opioids and adjuvant therapies, in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and procedural expectations
- Perform follow-up assessments post-procedures and adjust care accordingly
- Coordinate care across multiple specialties, including physical therapy, behavioral health, and surgical referrals
- Document visits and treatment plans thoroughly and timely in the EMR
- Assist in pre-authorizations and communication with payers when needed
- Participate in team meetings, staff development, and practice quality initiatives
Qualifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in the state of Maryland
- DEA license and CDS registration, or eligibility to obtain
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, anesthesia, or primary care is preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to excellent patient care
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Pay: $121,723.00 - $126,890.00 per year
