Elite Sports Clubs is gearing up for a fun and active summer season, and we're looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Summer Lifeguards. With our outdoor pool facilities, we offer a refreshing escape for families and individuals during the warm summer months. Responsibilities:
- Monitor swimmers and pool activities to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to promote safety and prevent accidents.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, providing assistance and first aid as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area and equipment to identify hazards and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with pool patrons, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Participate in training sessions and drills to maintain lifeguarding skills and readiness.
Qualifications:
- Current lifeguard certification from a recognized organization (e.g., American Red Cross, Ellis & Associates).
- CPR/AED certification required.
- Strong swimming skills and ability to perform rescues and provide first aid in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patrons of all ages.
- Reliable and responsible, with a commitment to safety and customer service.
- Previous lifeguarding experience preferred but not required.
