Assembly Technician / Electrical Assembly / Laborer
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Assembler / Technician role includes assembly and testing of battery cabinets, telecommunications and other electrical equipment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Follow and understand all Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Procedures.
- Comply with quality procedures including calibrated tools, preventative maintenance tools, perishable materials etc.
- Accurately torque as required per specification using properly calibrated tools.
- Accurately record meter readings including voltage to ensure compliance with standards.
- Produce work safely and efficiently while meeting all quality standards
- Produce assemblies within standard lead time per workbench and clocking’s.
- Visual inspection of material before and after assembly, including video and photos.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area per housekeeping standards, including tool carts.
- Establish and maintain cooperative work relationships with all employees and promote a team environment.
- Keeping WIP areas stocked with Inventory needed to perform duties.
- Train colleagues and provide feedback to manager on improvements, defective equipment and / or safety concerns.
Requirements :
All new hires receive extensive training for their role along with safety training.

Hours are 6 : 30am to 3pm
20.00 hr. DOE
