Estimator / JD Edwards
This position is responsible for leading the estimating team and securing orders through the efficient and timely processing of custom orders. Also developing and executing new products, systems, processes and procedures that are designed to improve safety, quality, efficiency and productivity.
Job Duties :
Prepare quotes from research gathered and deliver to customer within specified time-period.
Cost estimates and quotes are generated by determining the most efficient use of materials (stock, ink, production materials and outside services) and production workflow through the plant.
Works closely with order engineering and production to improve processes and on-time delivery.
Partners with Sales, Customer Service, Production, and Planning in providing creative ways to improve the customers’ project through improved quality or cost savings created via more efficient production plans.
Research, analyze, determine, verify and enter material costs for custom jobs.
Develop new products to meet customer needs through technical analysis, research and / or demonstrations.
Analyze data from various sources such as test

Suggests and participates in implementation of changes to improve the organization.
Explains and offers guidance on routine procedures.
Reports all irregular issues and problems to management for solution.
Maintains good communication with other staff.
Complies with all company policies and procedures.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
Requirements :
Over 5 years of experience with above Estimating responsibilities.
Strong Math Skills including measurements, Data entry skills, strong Excel skills, Organization skills, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Dependability / Reliability, Ethics / Business Compliance, Work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Problem solving skills, Time management, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, excellent customer service skills.
Ability to interact with others in a positive manner.
Experience with JD Edwards Oneworld, DelmiaWorks / IQMS, and / or LabelTraxx a plus.
Ability to demonstrate intermediate level of speech, reading, writing, and comprehension .
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Monday-Friday 8am-4 : 30pm (additional working hours may be needed occasionally)
65,000.00-75,000.00 DOE
