Maintenance Technician
This position is responsible for the preventive maintenance and general up-keep of the production equipment. They will also assist with projects throughout the facility, such as painting and general repairs. They will work in a safe manner while following all facility rules and regulations.
Essential Duties :
Performs general maintenance on production equipment including cleaning and the replacing worn parts on a scheduled basis (example : disassemble form fill seal machine then clean ink)
Performs general repairs and upgrades on building (ex. Replace door knobs, install shelf)
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor
Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test various types of equipment. (example : change out a cutter blade)
Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
Qualifications :
Experienced using hand and power tools.
Experienced in painting
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge and willingness to follow safe work practices including lock out tag out, Personal Protective Equipment, and others.
Ability to regularly lift and handle items weighing 30 pounds, occasionally more
Physical ability to perform all essential duties requiring bending, walking, standing, carrying, reaching, moving items, climbing stairs, kneeling, and lifting
Ability to work independently
Education and / or Experience :
Experience with tools and mechanical assembly
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
Preferred bilingual (Spanish and English)
9am-5pm or 10am-6pm
Monday-Friday
19.00-22.00 / hr DOE
