Material Handler / Stretch Wrapper
Objective : Ability to safely and effectively use the stretch wrap machines and correctly wrap and / or band palletized MTE
Job Duties :
Check machine settings to ensure all meet customer requirements
Verify palletized MTE has been banded in accordance with Postal criteria
Safely and properly, operate the stretch wrap machine
Use machine to wrap the palletized and banded MTE
Create serviceable, repairable or condemned placards and scan serviceable, repairable placards at the terminal to warehouse inventory
Secure placard on palletized MTE, ensuring it corresponds with the palletized MTE
Stage pallets for audit
Transport wrapped pallet to the take-away conveyor(where applicable), staging area, and / or to and from staging area.
Inspect palletized MTE that is brought up by Inspectors / Sorters to ensure it meets requirements before sending to bulk storage
Clean work area at the end of each shift
Requirements :
Previous Data Entry Experience
Previous experience wrapping products on pallets
