Printing Operator / Flexographic Printing Press Operator
Press Operators safely and efficiently perform printing-related tasks. They must have the knowledge and skills of associated machinery to identify and prevent issues and an artistic eye for proper color and other aesthetics. Press Operators perform equipment setup and minor maintenance. To make ready, operate, and adjust printing press to maintain required quality and quantity of production.
Job Duties :
Process job on press based on work order requirements.
Ensure machine is running efficiently and that job is completed in accordance with work order requirements.
Mount paper, dyes, and plates.
Set punch unit and change perfs.
Adjust inks and paper.
Provide basic machinery support including oiling, solvents, water, cleaning, and daily preventative maintenance.
Verify order materials are ready for job completion.
Maintain an organized, safe, clean, and efficient work area.
Additional Job Duties Include :
Suggests and participates in implementation of changes to improve the organization.
Explains and offers guidance on routine procedures.
Reports all irregular issues and problems to management for solution.
Complies with all company policies and procedures.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
Requirements :
1-3 years of experience relating to Flexographic Printing Press Operator responsibilities.
Conditions :
Due to safety issues relating to machine operation, long hair must be pulled back, any clothing or jewelry must fit appropriately, proper closed toe / heel shoes, and safety glasses must be worn. Hearing protection is also available. Exposed to UV inks that can be dangerous if not wearing the proper PPE.

2nd shift : 3 : 15pm-11 : 45pm Plus OT
19.00-22.00 / hr
