*Qualifications
Experience in dispatch service positions, such as plumbing, electrical, construction, carpet cleaning, restoration, cable, or other service-related industries.
Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Prefer some experience in Scheduling Software
- Experience in dispatching technicians
- Excellent phone etiquette and typing skills.
- Attention to detail/ Listening Skills
Position Overview:
Secondary dispatch to manage customer calls, input into scheduling software, and manage the details of customer requests, follow up on final invoices prior to billing, manage and maintain the customer database, and handle new customer paperwork and database input.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Manage technicians' schedules.
2. Efficiently handle backup dispatching, organizing customer job schedules in conjunction with technicians’ locations, and adjust to urgent customer requests.
3. Provide exceptional customer service to every client.
4. Maintain frequent interaction with customers via phone and email, demonstrating strong customer service and listening skills.
5. Exhibit multitasking capabilities and attention to detail.
6. Update and manage the customer database and invoicing.
**Job Specifics:**-
Schedule: Monday through Friday with a rotating Saturday every four weeks and a Monday off.-
Responsibilities include: - Managing high call volumes.
- Assisting with day-to-day input of customer jobs and dispatching them to technicians, ensuring timely arrivals, and scheduling work throughout the day.
- Selling our services to residential customers to help them understand our offerings and schedule necessary appointments.
- Updating internal staff on technician statuses and job changes.
- Check email for customer appointment requests and enter them into scheduling software.
- Assisting service technicians by gathering information, calling customers for confirmations, and checking voicemails to return calls.
- Updating and entering revised information as it becomes available in the field management program.
- Keeping office personnel informed of any urgent details or schedule changes for the day.
- Managing online customer requests.
- Creating daily schedules for technicians.
- Managing the new business customer database.
