Fabricator/Shop Position

We’re in the business of creating and installing high-quality surface solutions of natural or engineered stone products for contractors, builders, home remodelers, and designers.

A stone fabricator’s primary role is cutting and polishing large slabs of natural stone to fit the exact dimensions of the installation area.

Fabricator Duties and Responsibilities

Operate saw using AutoCAD software for cutting and templating
Run CNC equipment
Manage semi-automatic and automatic fabrication processes
Perform finishing work, sink cutouts, polishing, and edges with precision
Work with fabrication software, i.e., Slabsmith, Moraware
Fabricator Qualifications/Skills

Dependability
Attention to detail
Follow through each assignment to completion in a timely manner
Awareness and adherence to safety operating procedures
Computer skills, dexterity, and math skills
Must be able to lift 75 lbs. or more
Knowledge of CNC tooling helpful but not necessary

Our fabrication plant and selection center are in Lisbon, IA. We have a long-standing tradition of providing quality workmanship and quick installations dating back nearly three decades originally active in the terrazzo and stone flooring Industry. We use state of the art automated machines and provide a pleasurable work environment where you’re treated like family. Our installations span eastern and central Iowa with growth in other markets.
