Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays. 7:00am to 5:30pm, hours & days can vary based upon Owner/GC requirements and workload.

POSITION SUMMARY
Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul vehicles and machinery, such as semi-tractors, scrapers, excavators, and other heavy equipment in the shop.

• | Reassemble vehicles and equipment following repair, testing operation, and making adjustments as necessary. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
• | Maintain, repair, and overhaul heavy machinery and vehicles, such as haul trucks, semi-tractors, loaders, scrapers, and hydraulic systems. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
• | Examine and listen to vehicles, read inspection reports, and confer with operators to locate and diagnose malfunctions. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
• | Dismantle defective vehicles for repair, using personal hand tools. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
• | Test and replace electrical components and wiring, using test meters, soldering equipment, and hand tools. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
• | Repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools, welding equipment, grinders, or saws. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
