Elite Surface Infrastructure Overview
Elite Surface Infrastructure (ESI) is a growing company located in Englewood Colorado and has been working along the Colorado front range since 1998. ESI is one of the largest construction companies in Colorado that self-performs a variety of services including Underground Utilities, Milling, Asphalt, Paving, Grading, Concrete, and Earthwork for Infrastructure and Infrastructure Improvement Projects in the commercial, municipal, and federal sectors.
Elite Surface Infrastructure is seeking a Surveyor to join our dedicated team. We are looking for someone with a passion for the construction industry, and knowledge of the GPS and total station technologies being used on today’s jobsites.
This is a primarily remote position, with occasional travel to job sites in the market.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:
Working with PM’s, Superintendent, Foreman’s to provide them with the information they need to complete their jobs. Civil and Utility staking. As-Builts and topo’s of completed projects. Site calibration and add Benchmarks for our UTS guided Machines. Uploading and troubleshooting Machine control issues making sure they are calibrated and working properly.
Additional Duties: Perform any additional duties needed as issued by Operations.
ESI performs work for a wide range of entities including Federal, State, Local Municipalities, privately owned and joint venture projects.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Construction or Civil Engineering desired, or equivalent Heavy Civil work or Surveyor experience.
- Experience with Trimble, Topcon, Leica machine control and construction layout equipment a strong plus.
- Knowledge of and ability to read construction plans.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet project deadlines in a remote work environment.
