Employee Benefits Sales Representative – Long-Term Disability & Group Life
About the Opportunity
Are you a driven sales professional with experience in long-term disability (LTD), short-term disability (STD), and group life insurance ? Our client is expanding their Employee Benefits team and is looking for a results-oriented Employee Benefits Sales Representative to develop and manage a growing territory in North Carolina.
This is your chance to make an impact by building strong broker relationships, driving new sales opportunities, and increasing market share for group employee benefits solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Build & Maintain Broker Relationships – Establish and nurture key partnerships with brokers and centers of influence to expand the reach of LTD, STD, and group life products.
Drive Sales Growth – Develop a robust sales pipeline, generate new business opportunities, and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
Market Expansion & Brand Awareness – Increase visibility and presence in the employee benefits space through networking, prospecting, and industry engagement.
Sales Strategy Execution – Leverage data tools like Group Market Share, MiEdge, and Salesforce to identify opportunities and enhance market penetration.
Present & Educate – Conduct sales presentations, training, and product seminars to drive awareness and sales activity.
Achieve Revenue Goals – Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas while maintaining high client satisfaction.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements :
- Experience in LTD, STD, and Group Life Insurance Sales – Minimum 2-4 years of experience in employee benefits sales, with a strong track record of success.
- Established Broker Relationships – Proven ability to develop and maintain strong broker partnerships within the territory.
- Sales & Business Development Skills – Ability to create and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth.
- Strong Presentation & Consultative Selling Skills – Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to Travel (Up to 50%) – Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development efforts.
- Education & Licensing – Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience. Must hold a Life & Health license .
