Oracle JD Edwards Functional Analyst – Consulting Role (Remote)
A leading consulting firm is seeking a talented Oracle JD Edwards Functional Analyst with hands-on experience in EnterpriseOne Financial Management applications to join their dynamic service delivery team. This role is ideal for a JD Edwards Finance professional with strong business process knowledge, troubleshooting expertise, and end-user support experience. The position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, and cross-functional departments.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Act as the first point of contact for JD Edwards Finance-related support inquiries, diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues for timely resolution.
✅ Address user-reported issues across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, and other financial modules, escalating complex cases when necessary.
✅ Maintain a knowledge base of common issues and resolutions to optimize managed services.
✅ Support JD Edwards Finance-related projects, including system upgrades, new module implementations, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
✅ Collaborate with clients and internal teams to analyze business needs and translate them into workable solutions.
✅ Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements to improve system functionality.
✅ Contribute to the design, configuration, and deployment of JD Edwards Finance modules.
✅ Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data validation, and system integration testing.
✅ Work cross-functionally to integrate JD Edwards with enterprise applications (e.g., banking interfaces, reporting tools, third-party systems).
Qualifications & Requirements
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
✔ 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Finance modules.
✔ Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
✔ Experience in system configuration, business analysis, and process optimization within JD Edwards.
✔ Ability to troubleshoot functional issues and collaborate with technical teams for resolution.
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
✔ Distraction-free remote workspace with the ability to participate in video meetings.
✔ Willingness to travel as needed.
