📍 Location: South Plainfield, NJ (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, Fridays remote)
💰 Compensation: $110,000–$125,000 base bonus (~15 days' pay)

✅ What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop a team of Buyers across multi-site operations
- Own the entire purchasing strategy, budgeting, and documentation processes
- Optimize supplier management strategies and drive vendor consolidation for cost savings
- Lead supplier negotiations and quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
- Collaborate on New Product Introductions and Product Development projects
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks with internal/external stakeholders
- Track departmental KPIs and create regular reporting dashboards
- Drive continuous improvement and lead Kaizen/process optimization initiatives
- Manage hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and team development
🔍 What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required; APICS (CPIM) certification preferred
- 5 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing, ideally in life sciences, pharma, or biotech
- 2 years of leadership or people management experience
- Proven success in cost reduction, supplier negotiation, and sourcing strategy
- Experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical decision-making
- Proficiency in NetSuite strongly preferred (SAP or Oracle acceptable)
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
