Job Title: Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist
Salary: $60,000-$70,000
Location: Doral, FL (Hybrid)
Responsibilities:
- Generate, review, and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Monitor accounts receivable balances and aging reports to ensure timely collections.
- Contact customers via phone, email, and written communication to follow up on overdue accounts.
- Negotiate payment plans when necessary and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
- Issue and review payment terms. Includes running customers credit and determining proper terms.
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies or payment issues.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of collection activities and communication.
- Collaborate with the sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve disputes and improve payment processes.
- Prepare reports on collection status, aging summaries, and KPIs for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
- Requires extensive time on the phone.
Qualifications:
- Experience using NetSuite
- 5 years of experience in an accounts receivable role
- Accounting (debits/credits) understanding of billing, payment process, and collections
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field - plus
- Proficient with Excel
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Bilingual (plus) – to communicate with warehouse
