Job Description :

The Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that elevate our market presence and build our brand. This role will oversee all aspects of marketing, including growth marketing, public relations, media relations, and communications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in brand building, market positioning, and driving business growth through innovative marketing programs. Additionally, the VP of Marketing will manage public relations efforts to enhance brand visibility and develop strategic communication plans to convey our company messaging effectively across all channels.

What You'll Do :

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that enhance brand recognition and market presence.
  • Lead and inspire the marketing team to achieve ambitious goals and drive business growth.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Foster strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external customers, partners, and media.
  • Oversee public relations efforts and manage media relations to enhance company and brand visibility.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to effectively convey brand messaging and company plus product strategy across all channels.
  • Act as the company's spokesperson when required, representing the brand in public forums, media interviews, and industry events.

What You'll Need :

  • Currently located in the New York or DC Metro Area.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a focus on brand marketing, public relations, and building high performance marketing teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing marketing strategies and programs that drive business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Experience in SaaS companies with rapid growth and private equity or venture capital ownership.
  • Experience in legal technology software industry is a plus.
