Job Description:
We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Worker to undertake the responsibility of preserving the good condition and functionality of the premises at both of our Elite Therapy locations. You will perform maintenance tasks of a great variety such as painting, HVAC upkeep, changing lightbulbs, assembling new furniture and therapy equipment, grounds cleanup, weed spraying and removal, in addition to various other building safety-related tasks.
The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, etc.)
- Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality- change filters as needed
- Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, repair windows, tighten chairs and stools, assemble furniture and equipment, etc.)
- Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide
- Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping, leaf cleanup) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
Job Requirments and Skills:
- Proven experience as a maintenance worker
- Basic understanding of electrical and HVAC systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength
