Local Flatbed Driver

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Local Flatbed Driver. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in commercial driving and be comfortable navigating local routes. Flatbed experience is preferred, but we can train the right person.

Duties

- Safely operate maxi truck and trailers to transport goods and materials within a specific geographic area.
- Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently and on schedule.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, following proper procedures and handling techniques.
- Communicate effectively with customers, warehouse staff, and other team members to ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
- Keep accurate records of delivery status and any issues that may arise during transportation.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including refueling and reporting any necessary repairs.

Qualifications

-Must be at least 23 years old with a commercial driver's license (CDL) with a valid Class A
- Proven experience in route driving, delivery driving, or truck driving.
- Familiarity with a variety of heavy-duty vehicles, including maxi flatbed trailers
- Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to meeting deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
