Position : Java MidLevel Developer

Location : Raleigh NC (27610)

Client : State of North Carolina

Duration : 12 Months

Job Description :

We are seeking a Java MidLevel Developer to join our team for a shortterm contractor assignment focused on the DMV Traffic Records Systems. The ideal candidate will manage complex Java projects and provide critical support while collaborating with business owners to translate customer requests into technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Independently manage complex Java projects and provide 24x7 oncall support.
  • Collaborate with business owners to translate requests into user stories and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate software release schedules with business and technical teams.
  • Develop business requirements and provide testing and training support.
  • Maintain and enhance the DMV Crash Data Management system.

Required Skills :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in Java / JEE Oracle and XML.
  • Proficiency with Web Services JSP Servlets Spring and Struts.
  • Experience with application analysis design and technical support.
  • Familiarity with Eclipse IDE and version control tools.
