Position : Senior Developer / Programmer

Location : Raleigh NC (27601)

Client : State of North Carolina

Duration : 12 Months

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Senior Developer / Programmer to join our team for an exciting project to migrate legacy applications to modern ASP.NET Core solutions. This role involves collaborating with business owners troubleshooting code and optimizing SQL scripts while working in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Migrate legacy applications from classic ASP and VB6 to ASP.NET Core.
  • Develop and optimize TSQL scripts and web API REST services.
  • Utilize GIT for source control management in a team setting.
  • Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and team members.
  • Document existing and new application features.

Technical Skills Required :

  • Proficiency in VB6 C# TSQL and PL / SQL.
  • Experience with ASP.NET development (.NET Framework and .NET Core).
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio and SQL Management Studio.
  • Strong understanding of HTML CSS and JavaScript (jQuery React).
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and SQL Server tools.
