Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Transportation Technician 3 to ensure safe and efficient traffic movement in the Knoxville area. In this senior-level role, you will monitor roadways, respond to traffic incidents, and operate various computer-based traffic management systems. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate and monitor traffic management systems with minimal supervision.
- Serve as a shift team leader and train junior operators.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of traffic equipment and software.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and other traffic management centers.
- Document incidents and ensure accuracy of displayed traffic information.
