EliteCare Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled CST - First Assist to join our dynamic Operating Room team in Beloit, WI. This position is ideal for self-starters with a strong work ethic who are committed to providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a First Assist in various surgical specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, OB/GYN, Podiatry, ENT, and Facial Plastics.
- Participate in surgical procedures by assisting the lead surgeon with instruments and other responsibilities as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment by assisting with cleaning, turnover, and scrubbing when not directly assisting in surgeries.
- Take call 2-3 nights per week and every 3rd weekend, ensuring availability for emergency situations.
- Flexibility to work either 4-10 hour shifts or 5-8 hour shifts, with the option of taking 4 consecutive days off to enjoy a long weekend (Saturday-Monday or Friday-Sunday on a rotating basis).
- Adhere to a 20-minute call response time.
- Must reside at least 100 miles away from Beloit, WI, due to client’s non-negotiable distance restriction.
- Experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist with a valid CST certification.
- Proven ability to take initiative and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
