Job Description
Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking for a skilled CT Technologist/Radiologic Technologist to provide exceptional patient care and perform CT (Computed Tomography) and DX (Diagnostic Radiological) studies. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient safety and quality imaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray examinations for in-house and emergency department patients.
- Ensure optimal imaging quality by adapting exam routines and techniques as necessary.
- Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the imaging process.
- Conduct venipuncture as required for specific imaging studies.
- Maintain knowledge of sterile preparations and procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in imaging technology and techniques.
- Education: Completion of CT training (structured or on-the-job).
- Certification: Active Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in Radiology Technology.
- Knowledge: Intricate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and a basic understanding of human physiology.
- Licensure: Must obtain active Registered Technologist (ARRT) for CT, or be CT registered within 2 years from hire/transfer date for trainees, or 18 months from hire/transfer date for registry-eligible staff.
