Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and evaluate staff across the OR, Endoscopy, and Sterile Processing Departments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards of care.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to coordinate surgical services.
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to optimize department performance.
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development for staff.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, equipment, and best practices.
- Manage departmental budgets and financial performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the OR.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a surgical setting.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
