EliteCare Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and interpret patient vitals and telemetry strips using GE & Phillips monitors.
- Administer medications and titrate drips as per protocols, including sedation (Propofol), pressors (Levo, Norepi, Dopamine), insulin, and Cardizem.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Tele-nocturnist and Tele-Intensivist.
- Support and mentor colleagues, acting as a resource when necessary.
- Participate in unit orientation and training programs alongside Nurse Educator.
- Ensure compliance with stroke education requirements (8 hours/year).
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3, depending on acuity.
- Common diagnoses include sepsis, COPD, CHF, drug overdose, and more.
- Work within a small unit setting (6 beds) with shared nurse aides (2-3 per shift).
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Current WA State Nursing License.
- Current BLS and ACLS Certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an Acute Care setting preferred.
- Completion of Critical Care Consortium classes (unless previously experienced in ICU).
- New graduate applications will not be accepted.
- Charge nurse oversees the acute care and ICU units without a patient assignment.
- ICU staff may float to acute care units or assist in the ER as needed.
- Dress Code: Navy blue or white scrubs in solid colors only.

Salary : $15,000 - $120,000
