Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and response to treatments.
- Administer medications and intravenous (IV) therapies as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and health management.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.
- Current RN licensure in the state of California
- HIH (stroke) Pals,
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year of experience in an ICU setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
