Department/Unit: Nursing Administration

Salary Range: $2,700 - $2,900 per week

Shift: Weekend (12-hour day shift)

Duration: 13-week contract assignment; guaranteed hours: 36

Job Description

Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated House Supervisor for a travel nursing assignment in Alturas, CA. This position plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality patient care and effective management of nursing staff within the skilled nursing facility (SNF).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between the Director of Nursing (DON) and SNF nursing staff.
• Oversee the quality of nursing care and ensure compliance with physician orders.
• Manage staffing schedules, payroll, and disciplinary actions for nursing personnel.
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies, staff orientation, and educational programs.
• Collaborate with medical staff and administration to enhance patient care services.
• Assist in budget management and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 3 to 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Dependable and organized, with strong communication skills.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility required.
  
  

Work Location

• In-person position at the facility.
