Senior Specialist - Product Engineering

Job Summary

The Senior Specialist in Product Engineering is responsible for enhancing user interfaces and experiences for web applications. This role includes conducting user research, leading UI/UX design, collaborating with cross-functional teams, establishing a consistent design system, and continuously improving usability. The position requires advanced UI/UX design skills, user research expertise, and strong communication to ensure user-centered, visually appealing, and functional web applications.

Key Responsibilities

User Research and Analysis

• Conduct user research to understand current application screens.
• Translate research findings into actionable design insights and recommendations.
  
  

UI/UX Design

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web interfaces.
• Design responsive, accessible user interfaces that work seamlessly across devices.
• Develop intuitive navigation and user flow to enhance user experience.
  
  

Collaboration and Communication

• Work with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Effectively communicate design concepts and solutions to team members and stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews and offer constructive feedback.
  
  

Design System Development

• Develop and maintain a consistent design system and UI components library.
• Ensure adherence to design guidelines and best practices across platforms.
  
  

Usability Testing and Iteration

• Conduct usability testing to gather feedback on designs.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results to improve the user experience.
  
  

Visual Design and Branding

• Ensure designs align with brand and visual identity standards.
• Create visually appealing designs that enhance the overall user experience.
  
  

Documentation and Reporting

• Document design processes, guidelines, and best practices.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate design decisions and project status.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive web interfaces and user experiences.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing tools.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and frontend development principles is a plus.
