Position Summary:
As a Bilingual Merchant Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction within our merchant services division. You will be responsible for managing merchant accounts, providing technical support, and cross-selling our wide range of services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Merchant Account Management:Onboard new merchant clients, ensuring a smooth transition process.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing merchant accounts.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and efficiently.
- Sales and Cross-Selling:Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services to existing clients.
- Actively seek out new merchant leads and convert them into paying customers.
- Technical Support:Troubleshoot technical issues related to merchant processing equipment and software.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve equipment malfunctions or processing errors.
- Customer Service:Build strong relationships with clients and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Administrative Tasks:Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to merchant accounts.
- Assist with data entry and other administrative duties as needed.
- Equipment Management:
- Maintain internal control over office equipment purchases, deliveries, and returns.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Spanish
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic understanding of merchant processing and payment systems
- Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- Ability to commute to our Oxnard, CA office is required
- Willingness to travel within Ventura County approximately 25% of the time is preferred
