What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compensation Analyst position at EliteTechnical?
Elite Technical is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support our client, a community hospital, in Fishersville VA. The Compensation Analyst will perform the following duties :
- Evaluates placement of jobs, conducts job audits, analyzes jobs and determines pay grades based on survey data and internal equity / structure.
- Assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine FLSA classification.
- Responsible for new hire rate quotes.
- Participates in Salary Surveys.
- Compiles and maintains annual market increase master spreadsheet, distributes department spreadsheets to department leaders for review, and distributes increase letters to department leaders.
- Assists with Variable Compensation and Bonus program. Compiles and scores Variable Compensation goal achievements.
- Maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents. Assists Managers with new job descriptions.
- Advises management on applicable state and federal employment regulations and compensation and human resource policies and procedures.
- Audits for compliance with government regulations.
- Researches market trends.
- Maintains working knowledge of government regulations, compensation program trends, and prevailing practices among similar organizations.
- Participates in compensation and department projects.
- Partners with IT, Finance and others when appropriate to accomplish organizational wide initiatives.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
