Elite Technical is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Support Technician, who has basic knowledge of the Healthcare Industry and any EHR platform. The IT Support Technician will play an integral role in maintaining, optimizing, and securing our client-s IT infrastructure while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Reporting directly to the Director of Data and Technology, this role is pivotal in ensuring seamless IT operations that support the organization-s mission of transforming healthcare delivery. Responsibilities including but not limited to :
End-User Support
Provide advanced technical support to end-users, offering efficient and empathetic resolutions for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex problems across desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and other devices.
Guide users through troubleshooting and usage of mission-critical systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHRs), payment platforms, patient engagement tools, Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Admin, etc..), and HR / IT platforms.
Incident Management and Continuous Improvement
Lead the triage, prioritization, and resolution of IT tickets, ensuring alignment with organizational SLAs.
Document root cause analyses for recurring issues.
Hardware and Software Deployment
Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues, providing strategic input for future technology investments.
User Training and Documentation
Support in new hire onboarding in preparation for start date by completing IT checklist items and hold initial onboarding call to set up devices, user accounts and report out checklist for every onboarding class.
Although a remote opportunity, we are seeking candidates that reside on the East Coast (EST / CST is acceptable, East Coast is preferred). Required Skills
4 years of experience in IT support
Prior experience working within the healthcare industry information systems industry is required. Basic understanding of how EHR platforms operate is required.
Strong technical troubleshooting expertise in Google Workspace (including GMAIL) is required
Basic networking and multi-platform troubleshooting (Windows is required / MacOS and Linux is a big plus).
Working knowledge of HIPAA, NIST frameworks, and other relevant healthcare regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows, MacOS, and Linux environments.
Experience with ticketing systems ServiceNow and / or Jira
Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP / IP, DNS, VDIs and VPNs.
Troubleshooting expertise around desktop cameras and microphones
