What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer - QT/C++ position at EliteTechnical?
Our client, a leading federal defense contractor has an immediate need for a Software Engineer to perform software requirements analysis, participate in research and design, and develop and test software and tools. This will include inventing new products or enhancing existing applications.
The initial contract is for 6-months with the potential to extend or convert based on job performance and business need. The position is 100% onsite at our client's facility in San Jose, CA.
Required Skills
- Must be US Citizen due to government requirement
- Must be able and willing to obtain a Secret clearance (active Secret is preferred)
- Requires a Bachelor-s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field and 5 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- Agile experience is preferred
- Qt / C
- RDBMS (relational database management system)
- User Interface development
- Containerization
- Ability to lead the software development process
- Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways
- Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and positioning others for success
