Senior Java Backend Developer Newark, NJ - Hybrid Long term
We are looking for a talented and motivated Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing microservices-based architectures using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable Java backend services using Spring Boot.
- Develop and implement microservices architectures and RESTful APIs to support seamless integration between services.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
- Utilize Jenkins, Gradle, or Maven for continuous integration and build management.
- Deploy and manage services using Docker and/or in containerized environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write and execute unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality and functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in Java development, microservices, cloud computing, and related technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Java development, including Java 8 or higher.
- Solid hands-on experience with Spring Boot and building microservices.
- In-depth understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Gradle, or Maven.
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
