The Sales Enablement Lead is responsible for equipping the Sales team with effective strategies to engage prospects and customers, driving Elixir’s revenue goals. As a key member of the Sales Operations team, this role collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure Account Executives are provided with the tools, training, content, and resources necessary for successful prospect engagement and deal closure. The focus of the role includes improving sales productivity, driving revenue growth, and optimizing sales processes through strategic enablement initiatives. Additionally, the Sales Enablement Lead oversees the coordination of Go-To-Market (GTM) programs to enhance sales readiness and enable superior sales performance.
Essential Functions
Under the general supervision of the Managing Director, Sales Operations, the essential functions include :
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs for new and existing sales team members
- Ensure all training content reflects the latest in Elixir’s products, services, and sales strategies
- Conduct skill gap analyses and develop targeted coaching initiatives
- Partner with Marketing and Product teams to develop and maintain impactful sales collateral, such as presentations, case studies, demo scripts, objection-handling guides, and proposal templates
- Ensure all materials are aligned with customer needs and current market trends
- Support the effective implementation and adoption of sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, Seamless)
- Provide training and ongoing support to maximize tool utilization and ROI
- Analyze sales workflows to identify bottlenecks and recommend data-driven improvements
- Develop and implement best practices, templates, and workflows that drive consistency and efficiency
- Track and evaluate key sales performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of enablement initiatives
- Provide actionable recommendations to enhance sales strategies and tactics based on insights
- Align enablement initiatives with Elixir’s GTM strategy and broader business goals
- Partner with teams across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure alignment and a seamless buyer journey
- Drive adoption of enablement programs through clear and engaging communication
