What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator/Assistant Administrator position at Elizabeth City Health & Rehabilitation?
Elizabeth City Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to become a part of our compassionate team as our Assistant Administrator.
Responsibilities Include :
- Assist the Administrator with managing the day-to-day operations of the facility and keep the organization on track for its long term goals and mission
- Assist with providing leadership to each clinical, managerial, and custodial team, and ensure that they work together effectively
- Oversee and manage staff and employees at every level
- Ensure the facility operates in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Assist with coordinating with clinical staff to ensure residents’ individual care plans are being followed
- Provide regular safety and compliance training
- Assist Administrator with creating and maintaining a budget
- Oversee billing and set fees
- Act as a professional leader of the organization to the governing board, the public, and residents’ families; and as a liaison between staff, residents, and families
