Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our law firm. This full-time role is essential in creating a positive first impression for clients, attorneys, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be personable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Management: Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth, creating a welcoming environment.
- Phone & Email Communication: Answer and direct incoming calls, take messages, and respond to emails in a timely and courteous manner.
- Client Support: Provide basic information about the firm’s services, assist clients with check-ins, and ensure they are comfortable while waiting.
- Mail & Correspondence Handling: Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and legal documents.
- Office Organization: Maintain a clean and organized reception area and conference rooms.
- Data Entry & Filing: Assist with basic administrative tasks, including updating records, scanning documents, and maintaining files.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service representative preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn office management software.
- Excellent time management, organization, and multitasking abilities.
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
- Starting Pay: $13 per hour.
