For over 35 years, Elizabeth Seton Children’s (ESC) has been a trailblazing provider of care and education for children and young adults with complex medical conditions and a beacon of hope for their families. At our children’s center in Yonkers, NY, which is the largest of its kind in the US, we are continuously recognized as a 5-star, nationally acclaimed, post-acute facility for our unsurpassed clinical and rehabilitative services.

ESC is pioneering the first ever facility designed to care for young adults with severe and chronic medical needs who have aged out of pediatric services. Our future young adult center will be located on our White Plains campus and is slated to open in 2027.
Reporting to the Administrator of the young adult center, the Chief Nursing Officer provides strategic and operational leadership to plan, organize and direct the daily operations in accordance with regulatory guidelines and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning :
- Participate in ESC Strategic Planning Committee in partnership with the Board of Directors and be accountable to meeting the agreed upon metrics for monitoring success.
- Establish and implement an interdisciplinary vision that provides inventive, holistic care and education of unparalleled quality to transform the lives of young adults with medical complexities.
