Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY
1- Delivery of treatment services to children ranging in ages from 0-21 years
2- Evaluation services
3- Job-related department responsibilities
This position is Per Diem- hours/schedule based on the needs of the Clinic
Position Functions and Responsibilities
- Provide treatment for patients ages 0-21
- Supervise student interns as directed by Manager
- Conduct initial Occupational Therapy evaluations and re-evaluations
- Complete reporting activities as required by regulatory and departmental standards including but not limited to:
-daily notation of therapy
-all progress reports with updates
-rehabilitation rounds/staff conferences
-other activities that may be assigned form time to time, i.e. splinting
- Develops and reviews patient care plans in conjunction with Physiatrist
- Participates in clinical quality assurance initiatives
- Provides patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written documentation
- Comply with established ESCR , Inc. policies and procedures re: quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control, confidentiality of patient information, customer service, attendance, punctuality, dress code, professional conduct, annual health assessments etc.
- Participate in all departmental in-services and staff development activities
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s/or Certificate in Occupational Therapy with NYS License as a registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) or in process with permit. Must maintain license in good standing.

- Minimum 1 year experience in clinical pediatric environment
Hourly:
$80/Hr
