Job Summary
The Summers at Seton Cafeteria Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of ESHS’ food service program from June 23, 2025, to August 1, 2025. This position ensures that meals are served and managed in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Food Serving:
- Ensure food is served and held at proper temperatures.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
2. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and dining areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Maintain records of health inspections and implement corrective measures if needed.
3. Customer Service:
- Interact with campers and staff in a positive manner.
- Address any concerns or complaints about food quality, variety, or service.
- Ensure that the cafeteria environment is welcoming and accommodating for all campers.
4. Administrative Duties:
- Ensure that all campers dining in the cafeteria are verified against the approved roster.
QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY COMPETENCIES:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Food Protection Manager (ServSafe, National Registry of Food Safety Professionals, etc.).
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
