We also offer before and after-school programs, as well as an exciting summer camp designed to keep kids engaged in learning activities all year round!
Duties:
- Create a secure and supportive atmosphere for the children under your supervision.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote physical, cognitive, and social development
- Create a structured daily routine that includes playtime, meals, naptime, and outdoor activities
- Ensure the well-being of each child by monitoring their health, safety, and emotional needs
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Keep the childcare area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a daycare or childcare setting is preferred.
- It is important to have knowledge of child welfare guidelines and regulations.
- Additionally, the ability to engage children in physical education activities is necessary.
- Strong communication skills are also required to effectively interact with children, parents, and other staff members.
- It is essential to have patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
